Common Questions
Everything you need to know about getting started
Not at all. We rotate partners throughout classes and events, so you'll get to dance with different people. It's a great way to meet folks and build confidence without worrying about having the same partner every time.
It's never too late. We've had plenty of people start at 50, 60, even 70. The instructors know how to work with beginners, and everyone's patient and encouraging. You'll be surprised how quickly your body picks up the basic steps.
Comfortable clothes and smooth-soled shoes are the essentials. For classes, just wear whatever lets you move freely. Social events are more relaxed — some people dress up, some don't. It's really about what makes you feel good.

Bachata is slower, smoother, and more intimate — great if you like a slower pace. Salsa is faster and more energetic with sharper movements. Both are fun. Most people learn one first and then pick up the other once they've got the basics down.
